Slow weight loss and constipation

I went from losing 25lb on average a month to 6lbs. During this time I was having a bm almost everyday. Now its 1-2 times a week. I've been taking a probiotic and miralax. I need to change my regimen but I'm not sure what to add. Could this be the reason for the slow weight loss? I miss the 25lbs a month. I knew weight loss would slow but geez.

I would say add some fiber, I am on opti and have to take some form of fiber. I use benefiber chewables. Sugar free. There is also a powder that you could add to your protein shake. I would also go back to the nutritionist and see if you can change your intake to help. You are doing great keep it up

I can't say that it'll help your weight loss - but to stay regular I'm on miralax in my morning drink and two stool softeners at night. I tried just going with benefiber, and even with drinking 80oz of fluid, it constipated me something fierce. Wacky. My intestines hate me.

Might I just say that your weight loss is awesome!! That's so great for six months!
