Halfway to goal!
This process continuously amazes me. In four months I've lost a little over 75lbs. I'm halfway to my "goal" weight. I have my goal listed as 150 but I have legitimately no idea what that looks like or means for my body because I've never weighed that..well, obviously on my way to 300 lbs but I was probably in like 4th or 5th grade when I weighed 150 last.
Awesome things about this journey:
-I have so much more energy
-I have the ability to do things I never thought I could do (like run 1.7 miles in 20 minutes!)
-Life still revolves around food, but in a different way. I can go out to eat with DH and friends and I don't care that I'm not drinking or eating bread/appetizers. I'm ok with pushing the plate away after a few bites and watching everyone else clear their plates. It's so much more about the experience, now.
-I can run around and chase my kids without getting winded.
-My clothes take up so much less space in the washing machine LOL
-I'm signing up to run my first 5k on 6/23
This is seriously the best decision I've ever made for myself. It's opening up so many great experiences and instead of living to eat I'm eating to live!
