For the first two weeks after surgery and I could see the lbs. droppin off. Then last week it stayed at 248 for a day or two, so I decided to wait a week to check again. I understand that losing 22 pounds in three weeks is awesome but in my mind I lost 22 pounds in two weeks and stayed the same weight for the last seven days. I am just a little frustrated, I appreciate the fact that I feel great and have alot of energy without any problems but STILL MAN COME ON, I want to lose some weight as well.

You need to stay off the scale. It'll happen.

Go for a walk, read a book, take a drive. Better yet...throw out the scale.

I know I am addicted to the scale and weigh everyday which I know I shouldnt do because when I dont lose I feel like a failure. I am trying to tell myseld just to weigh weekly, but it's so hard....

Patience, patience, patience!  Many people let the scale drive them nuts.  Some can way daily and not let the results bother them ( I actually motivate by the scale).  If it bugs you, toss it.

Good luck on your journey!

I am guilty of scale obsession too.  I actually weigh morning and night (i dont know why) and at first i would see the pounds coming off them the scale was at a stand still and i was getting frustrated.  I have learned that even though the pounds are not coming off things are still happening.  Taking measurments will give you a true sense of what is going on.  I actually am using the same belt from before surgery and even though it is too big for me now..i just keep adding holes then every so often i measure from the hold where i started to the new hole.  It helps.  I was like you at first i wanted to see the pounds come off but the better reward is the visual and the baggy cloths.  and yes 22 pounds in 3 weeks is an awesome amount of weight loss.  Be patient and you will see the scale will start moving again.  I have days where i get on and i am a pound lighter than the day before and some days i am up a pound or the same ..  It does suck not to see the weight change but i am trying to be patient as well.

dont get too frustrated...take measurements and you will see the difference

Best Wishes

I'm a month out, as of yesterday, and I'm stalled for just over a week now as well. Patience. I believe your body goes into "Whoa, what the..." mode for a short time.

The three week mark gets a lot of people. I had no loss from week two to week four, but have been going down slow but steady since then. It will pass, I promise.

This happened to me too... several times... the best thing to do is continue working your program based on what the nut and doctor tells you...

ps - I am addicted to the scale too... just allowing it for now because for me it is less stressful to weigh daily than to wait a week...
