I go in for surgery on Monday the 30th as well for a revised RNY. I'm just as scared and have second guessed it all a million times, but, I've made my mind up that this is what I'm doing and I WILL BE SUCESSFUL!! Once you get home and the wait starts coming off you'll start to feel more at piece with yourself and the decision. Good luck Sister and I'll be thinking of ya as I go in too!!

My surgery is May 22nd, and one thing that keeps me from doubting things is that every single person I know or heard of that has received this surgery is thankful they did it and had absolutely no regrets doing it.  I'm one that has tried and at a lot of diets, then gained it all back and then some.  I equated dieting to trying to throw a boulder at a tank....even if I could get it off the ground...it wasn't going to make much of an impact in the long run.

I am also a bit of a light weight for WLS, but have all but one of the co-morbidities (PCOS, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, cholesterol & depression/anxiety), so I get a lot of the people questioning why, and every time I explain it, my resolve is stronger that this is the right choice for me.

Deep breath....and relax...
