I'm scheduled!
Hello - I haven't been on OH in a really long time. I was waiting to go through the whole process and get cleared by my insurance company.
I now have a date scheduled. My RNY surgery is scheduled for June 26! I pushed it back because that's the week I'm done teaching at school. I have some apprehension, and I keep asking a couple of friends that had the surgery last minute questions.
I'm really hoping this is a positive step toward becoming healthier!
Oh, and I've actually gained a couple of pounds since last fall - even though I tried not to be doing the "last supper" thing, I think it's happened despite my best efforts.
Does anyone have any advice for the surgery and hospital?
