What I learned today (not 'sharing')...
What I learned new today, boys and girls, is that I need to get my 30-minute/1.5-mile walk in every single day...EVERY SINGLE DAY...
'Why?', you ask? I'm so glad that you did (though you may not be)...here's why:
When I walk, the abdominal area muscles get gently stimulated and they, in turn, gently massage the bowel area...which later results in a bowel movement...i've now done this enough to make this correlation...
When I get my walk in on only, say, five (5) out of the seven (7) days of the week, I sometimes don't have bowel movement for as many as three days...hence, no weight loss...
So, going forward, unless it is a raging storm outside, bitterly cold (sub-zero temps) or otherwise dangerous to do so (this is Hyde Park...a block away from the U of C campus), I'll be walkin'...
