well i,m home hope all my surgery buddies are too day 3 for me has been the roughest so far can reely feel things tighting up my dr wants me on clear liquids 7 more days o well no biggie and choughin realy hurts hope all went well for thr rest of you! thankyou all and may God Bless you all with speedy healing and recoverys dan

 Oh Dan, I can so relate.  Coughing hurt so much.  I had to use the spirometer and never could get it where they wanted it, but it didn't matter.  It helped me cough to clear the lungs.That in itself wore me out something fierce.  tightening up? Oh yeah.  Just rest and do your liquids. If you are nauseated hope you have meds.  If not call them to call you in a script.  It's going to be a ride for awhile.  Take care and will be sending good Karma your way. Jane in California

Welcome home and congratulations!! I was done on 21 st and came home today!! Burping is a killer for me too!! Dr. Alley said because of the hiatal hernia repair it is super sensitive! Did you have a hh? Keep posting!!! Hugs

Welcome home Dan.  It was nice to see the earlier post from your wife telling us about your status.  It does get better.  Especially once all the gas is gone and your healing is further along.
