A Better Day.

There is light at the end of this tunnel. I have lost 22 of the 30 pounds of fluid I gained overnight in the I.C.U. It really is comming off fast, like they said. It would have been nice to have to have been told that gaining that was a possibilty even if a remote one. The total surprise was what totally through me and undid every positive thing I had put my mind around for this. I felt defeated and like I had made a terrible mistake. The fact that everyone seemed to blow it off and say don't worry you'll loose that fast, when I hadn't counted on needing to loose 30 more pounds after spending 6 months and 3 weeks looseing all I could for the surgery. I was excited about what I had already lost and the fact that I did not have a huge amount to reach my goal. This surgery was more to fix the Hernia I had, that was very bad, than for weight loss in the first place.That was the icing on the cake and the diebetes and high blood pressure being  better if not cured. Adding that 30 pounds put me in a weight class I had NEVER been in my entire life. I could not breath or move. I hurt in every fiber of my body. Now that it is comming off fast I do feel better and am able to fit in some of my clothes. If this keeps up I'll be back to my pre- surgery weight and start all over. Thanks for letting me vent again.

 

 Glad the weight you gained in the hospital is coming off.  Not sure if 30 lbs is normal weight gain but since you did have blood given to you and such that might all be the cause along with the normal weight gain.  Don't let it discourgage you! 

 everyone has the right to vent :D im sorry you had to go through this. i hope its all good from here on out :) good luck sweetie!! all my water weight and a few non water weight lbs have started to come off on my end. and it feels nice :) i still have 100 lbs to go! but keep me updated!!!
