Surgery went GREAT!!!!

Just got home from the hospital and frankly it was a peice of Cake..............not much pain,heck the worst part was NPO after surgery, thoat was sssssssssssooooo sore and dry from the bbreathing tube. No drain tubes. I got a rx i cant get filled its pantoprazole (protonix) in sodium bicarbonate 8.4% suspension, what is it and what can i use instend

Protonix is an acid reducer and the sodium bicarb will coat your pouch and reduce acid.  Why couldn't you get it filled? Not in stock? If that's what they want you on I would try and find it, or take it to a compounding pharmacy and get them to make it for you.
