Great job on the weight loss!! I had my surgery 2/16/2011 and the process started a month before that. Up to date I have lost 80 lbs but I am not eating well..like not enough and not sure what to eat...what do you do? I thought I would get some help from someone who has had the surgery and looks great!

I wish I could tell you that I do something special but I really don't. I'm at the gym a minimum of three days a week but I shoot for five. I do 4.5 miles on the eliptical when I'm there. I don't like doing weights so I do them way less often then I should but when I do them I follow the routine I learned from the original power 90 program. I don't do protein shakes, I get my protein from mostly dairy and eggs. I don't allow myself any surgar and I don't drink with meals. Oh and I stay away from breads and pasta for the most part. I just realized you asked what do I eat. Every morning I make myself a sugar free latte that consists of two cups of skim milk. Throughout the day I'll nibble on string cheese or those little squares of snack cheese that you can buy and I always have a supply of hard boiled eggs made up that's ready to grab and go when I'm hungry. Occasionally I snack on peanuts. For supper I pretty much eat whatever the family eats. Last night it was thin crust, bacon chicken, ranch pizza from a local pizza place. The night before dh grilled hamburgers so I had just the burger patty. And in the evening I always have another glass of skim milk to help round up the protein. I hope I gave you a couple of ideas at least and wish you luck on your journey.
