Surgery on 8/1

Hi!  I am new to the site and having my gastric bypass on Wednesday.  I have been doing the preop diet for almost 2 weeks and have lost 14 lbs. a total loss since I started this journey in Feb of 34 lbs.  I have been nervous, but am now oddly peaceful and feel like maybe this will finally help change things for me.  Trying not think of what I will be giving up but more of what I will gain.  I am totally expecting to go into panic mode shortly.

Good luck!  That is my surgery date also.  I began in April and have lost 32 lbs.  I am nervous and excited.  I am sure we will both do just fine!
