Why do I stink?
Since my surgery i have been told 2 times I need a shower. Once was after a walk so that was understandable but the other time was just in the middle of the day prior to any workouts. Before my surgery the only time I stank was after a long bike ride(20-30 miles) Will smelling bad be the new normal since the surgery? If so I guess it will be worth it in the end.

I think most of us go into Ketosis after surgery, since we are eating protein and not a lot of carbs. This can cause a funky smell in some people as the body is expelling ketones in the sweat, breath, and urine. I would be willing to bet money on that being the cause. Other than being sure to force water so you can wash them out in the urine, I'm not sure what you can do. It seems some people have more problems than others with this. Hang in there!
It's possible you have some fungus on your skin. You can try some medicated anti fungal powder. Your doctor can even prescribe "NYSTOP" powder for you.
If you end up with some persistent rash between folds of skin a cure for that is to douse a sock with powder and put it in the folds so that it's held in place by friction. The sock will wick away any moisture and your skin will heal up.
Maybe take two showers a day and not just one.
Hope this helps. Your not the only person who has even been told to get a shower.
