Two Quick TMI Qs
So, I have to start the colon cleanse tomorrow for my surgery on Monday. It’s 3 doses of Miralax over the course of the day and then Sunday I’m on clear fluids only.
Q #1: What am I supposed to eat tomorrow while doing the cleanse? can I just eat my regular protein shakes and food?
Q#2: How long does the Miralax take to work? I have to see a bookkeeping client 10a-1p tomorrow and I’m supposed to take the first 2 doses at 8a and 12p and I’d like to avoid any potentially embarrassing bathroom visits while in her home.

So, On Q#1 I would think you would continue the diet you are currently on if they didn't give you other instructions.
Q#2 Miralax is not a hard hitting or fast acting laxative, so nothing should sneak up on you at any time, even after 3 doses. You should be fine.
