How long did you lose a 1lb. a day and when did you stop?

I've lost 26 lbs. and tomorrow will be 4 weeks.. I guess that's pretty good??

My nutritionist is a *****sorry, but I didn't't click with her.  Her book that she gives to all of her patients said one thing and she was telling me something completely different in her office.

Any advice on my eating habits:

B-- hard boiled egg

protein shake 4 ozs.

L- tuna salad (2 oz can but I never eat it all-- maybe 1/2)

protein shake 4 ozs.

D-- either turkey breast, chicken breast

protein shake

Any advice is more than welcomed!

My rate was never a pound a day, so I'm not going to be very helpful in that respect. My loss has always been in fits and starts. 26 lbs in 4 weeks is terrific.

Are you allowed dairy? I started eating Greek yogurt (flavored with sugar free pudding mix) at your stage as a change of pace. Tuna is a great source of protein, but I still cannot eat much at a time. It's very dense.  If you enjoy and are allowed shellfish, that is another great option. Most people don't have trouble with it.

I fight badgers with spoons.

I've been eating some sort of fish every other night for dinner.  Thank you for the advice!

You are doing great in the weight loss department.  I never heard about the pound a day rule.  I wouldn't count on that since there may be weeks (or months) when you don't lose anything at all.

I would suggest dairy if you can tolerate it.  Greek yogurt is great.  You can mix is with sugar free preserves for now.  Cottage cheese is also a good choice.  I began eating that when I could eat fruit. You wouldn't be able to do fruit right now but you may want to experiment with it later on.   I usually mix pineapple with it.  Milk is another good source of protein,  Other than that I think you have the right idea about what you should be eating.

How are you doing with the fluids?

I ate so much yogurt and cottage cheese my first week that I can't even look at it at this point.  I'm sure in a week or so I'll go back to it but for right now.. NO WAY!
