Discouraged

Well ladies and gents my surgery has yet again been postponed..

i'm so tired of waiting. i feel like it's never going to happen..

Pity party for one..

Mine got postponed too due to pneumonia and I didn't think it was ever going to happen. Hang in there. I hope it happens soon.

Sorry to hear they postponed your surgery. That would certainly discourage me too. Do you mind telling me why? I ask because I'm a month away from my surgery date and am scared something may happen to me too. Thanks

Wow!  How sad for you!!  I was trying so hard to not get sick before my surgery date, just terrified that they would postpone me!!  I can't imagine how much this bothers you.  Good luck and I hope you get rescheduled soon!

I am sorry this happened and that you are discouraged.  Do you know why or what happened?

Both times were my surgeon's fault. The first time he "forgot" he had a class that morning. The second time I'm not exactly sure, he took off the rest of the week whi*****luded my surgery day.

It's just very frustrating because my family has had to ask off work for 2 different weeks now. And I am just so ready for this to happen!!

Today was supposed to be my surgery.

If your surgeon is this thoughtless and mindless I wouldn't have a knife put to my abdomen by him.   His lack of professional protocol speaks a volume of words.  Good luck.  Jane

I would be furious!!!!!  Mine was cancelled due to my thyroid levels, but because of the reason your surgeon gave?   I would charge him for my time!

All proper respect to people who become surgeons, but they can be kind of arrogant. One reason some doctors go into surgery is that they don't want to interact with patients. 

I don't suppose it's worth actually changing surgeons, but I wish you could. One rescheduling is understandable; two are two too many.
