I had my RNY on 12/27/12 and at first the weight was shredding right off . Now since the death of my father I feel I have stalled. I know I need to start back working out again . It's this normal so early out. What can I do to re jump start my weight loss please help guys!!!!!!!

How long has the stall been? What was your starting weight the day of surgery , and what is your weight now?

About 2 weeks my start weight was 338 and my weight now is 278

Yes,  this early out you can stop for a week or so.  I did not lose anything in week 2!    I developed a pattern of one week a month where I did not lose.  Especially when I dropped a size.  I found that when I did not lose weight my clothing size would drop.

At week 5, I stalled for three full weeks!  Then I lost 7 pounds the next week.  Don't panic!  I know it's easy to do, I sure did!  But my measurements did move, except for the third week of the stall, but then I dumped 7 pounds.  Patience is definitely a plus!!  I'm only 1 week ahead of you, so I can completely relate to what you're going through!

RNY on 12/20/12 at 307.  Highest ever 326 pounds.  Goal weight 180 pounds.
