I have been itching all over. Back, stomach, legs. I know I have dry skin and usually lotion stops it but nothing is
Working even my incision
Sites are starting to itch. I was sunburnt before surgery.
Also..... Did any of you wear a abdomen binder? I was thinking of getting one for when I go

Itching around your incisions is a sign of healing.  Benadryl cream around (not on) your incisions should help.  I returned to work after 4 weeks, very physical job, and didn't need mine since post op day 3-4

I don't know what you're taking for pain meds (if anything) but oxycodone can make you itchy all over.

Surgery (RNY) scheduled for Feb 26, 2013

It might be the Hydrocodone...it makes me itch all over! I have to take benadryl if I take it.

RNY October 31, 2012.

The hospital sent me home with a binder, but I didn't wear it after 4 days post-op. And I went back to work on post-op day 8, so I don't think you'll need one for long, if at all.

I had open RNY on 8Jan13 and came home with a binder. I had to wear it for 5 weeks (doctor's orders). Now I only were it when I work out.
