Hello, i just had my  rNy done march 13. I was allowed to come home on thursday. i was just wondering how long the left side of stomach hurts?

It varies widely from person to person, so no one can really tell you.  That is the area where the majority of the work was done, so that is the area with the most pain.

Hi Debbie! I had my surgery on Monday the 11th and it was hell on Monday and all day Tuesday...I didn't have any narcotics for pain as I get real sick with them, I get real nauseous and vomit so I thought the pain was better than getting sick. I woke up Wednesday like a new woman. I was discharged yesterday morning and it almost feels like I had nothing done. Maybe a twinge here and there, but nothing like earlier in the week. Oh, and my tummy now growls real loud. It's kinds funny when my husband can hear it all the way across the room.

Thanks . So far i havent been hungry. I had lived off water and diet snapple. i like the feeling of not being hungry
