am 9 months out and have lost 95 pounds, my question is really not related to weight loss. I am going to tryto quit smoking, i am afraid that i will gain some of the weight back. I have recently been taken off my water pill cause my blood pressure was to low. I am wondering if the combination of the two at the same time may make me gain waeight or stall me out all together. Any suggestions will help.

I quit smoking in november 2012. I did gain 11 lbs. But that was pre op. Maybe you can go back to the diet you were originally on right after surgery while your body Adjusts or walk twice as much. My doc told me that your body burns more calories when you smoke so just do a little extra to make up for it. I of course didnt listen. I ate everything under the sun. Good luck!
