I am 10 days away from my surgery and can't wait. Today i had what i hope to be the first of many wonderful days. I watched my 22yr old daughter graduate from the navy. I know that it is a small thing to be happy about but i also know it is the little steps that will make this long journey go along smoothly.She will not be home for my operation so getting to see her today made me feel a lot better about the up coming surgery. My significant other is not supportive of the surgery so to know that my kids are behind me 100 percent makes my day.
