Pouch "growling"
No question is crazy here! Guts for postops tend to be noisier than preop... digesting and gas tends to be quite vociferous for most of us. I found it got worse as there was less fat to muffle the sound.....
Until (and unless) the nerves grow back, don't go on hungry & full to determine what/how much/how often you eat. You're probably not hungry if you ate less than 2 hrs ago but if it's been several hours, you'd probably be due for another meal/snack/shake.

It isn't your pouch that is growling... It is your intestines. The portion of your intestine that now receives the food from the pouch is used to getting the food already somewhat processed by the part of your intestine that was bypassed, so part of the reaction of the intestine to having to do extra work on what you eat causes the grumbling/growling/gurgling. Chewing everything to "mush", and giving your saliva a chance to break the of food down a bit more will help minimize the noise.
I have not heard of people's pouches grumbling to indicate hunger, and according to what I have read, the pouch (because of small size and lack of normal stomach fluids) doesn't have the ability to grumble the way the natural stomach did.
