Saying Hello
Hi everyone,
I am new to this site and I just wanted to do a shout out.
I am a hopeful gastric bypass patient. I already had the lap-band but due to complications and lack of results I had it removed in June 2012 6 years after having it put in. Unfortunately at the time I was not heavy enough for the insurance company to approve me for a new WLS. Now 10 months later I am ready for RNY. I am still waiting for insurance approval and psychiatric release (that a whole other post). Hopefully by July I will have all of my ducks in a row.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and hopefully getting some great advice along the way. I want to hear the good and the bad, I like to know exactly what I am getting myself in to.
Feel free to drop me a line at any time.
Emily
Welcome, and don't forget to explore the Revision forum as well. There may be some helpful suggestions from others that have had a revision from band to RNY.
Best of luck to you!
