Having an off day today. I am sooooo sick of liquids!!! Ahhhh I just want to scream!! Tired of broth,popsicles,protein drinks and jello. I am getting all my water,protein,vitamins in. I just want an egg or some mashed potatoes or refried beans even the dreaded pureed meat! I am really tired today too had alot going this weekend. Would NEVER advance myself against my docs orders. Just having a liquids only pity party LOL anyone feel the same??

You go girl!!! Its way easier with a smaller tummy lol the before liquids were way harder to fill up on!!

Are you allowed to have tomato or squash soup so long as there is no milk in it? That was my savior for the 22 days of liquid diet prior to the surgery on the 13th of this month.

Be that little engine that could....chugga chugga chugga!! You WILL get there!! :)

I can have anytype of cream soup. But no tomato because of the acid? I will have to try the squash soup though!

Oh man I am right there with you I am 11 days out and my taste buds are changing so having a hard time getting in the protein. But i do understand the liquid blues.... argh....

I am getting to the point that when I go to drink my protein I seriously almost gag. BUT no matter what I do it. BUT DANG its hard!!! I need something with some texture lol

The funny thing is as much as I felt that way at your stage last month when I was having gall bladder and scar tissue pain at the same time I went back to liquids and actually enjoyed it. In fact I am back eating normal and made jello for dessert last night amazing what a year does.

I ate squash soup too, it was so good! I could not touch the protein drinks for like 6 weeks after I went onto regular foods, they made me gag, lol! Only recently added them back in. Greek yogurt was my savior, and I added all sorts of stuff to it, crystal light, sugarless maple-flavored syrup, even beef gravy (sort of tasted like stroganoff). I still eat it almost every morning, I never got sick of it.
