When I say I feel sick I mean a sick feeling in my stomach but no danger of throwing up, no discomfort in my throat as if eaten too much and it is stuck there, just feel sick.  It is annoying.   Almost find eating a nuisance because I get hungry so I eat and then about 15 minutes later, I get hit with a sick feeling in my stomach, it usually passes within a 1/2 hour to an hour but it makes it really hard to enjoy things when you feel that way.  Anyone else experience this?  I know that when I've tried eating anything that contains sugar, it will make me feel this way so I avoid it (wonderful gift to keep me out of sweets) but this morning I ate cheese and ww crackers - felt sick, 1/2 chicken breast w/swiss cheese - felt sick, protein shake even a little shakier than usual going down.  Open to any suggestions you may have.

This sounds like exactly how I feel when I eat dairy.  Some of us can't tolerate lactose after surgery.  Usually when I eat dairy I start feeling sick, sometimes have the scoots (as my friend calls diarrhea) but I feel just yucky for about 30 -45 min then it's gone.  Try going dairy free and see how you do!

That's how I felt with my first puréed meal today. I only got about a teaspoon down before I just couldn't take it anymore. Oh, except it happened immediately.
