Some good to balance the less-than-good

I just updated my current weight and realized my BMI, while still unhealthily high, now is below 40. This means I wouldn't qualify for RNY surgery. I think that's kinda cool.

Way to go!  My journey has been longer than most so this is actually one of the most important milestones for me.  I'm down into the 35-40 range right now, which is better than "no questions asked 40+."  :)

Of all the small personal victories I imagined, not meeting the criteria for surgery wasn't one of them. Thirty-five to forty is for sure better than "no questions asked 40+". Yay us!

YAY FOR YOU!! I am going to go figure mine out--I don't know what mine is now. But you've given me another potential YAY for me. :)

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
