So sorry to hear about the death of Dr. Daryl Stewart in Denton, tx last week. He saved many lives with his expertise in weight loss procedures. God bless his family and office staff. He will be missed ! He did my RNY 1 year ago and I am down 130 thanks to him!

Payers said for his family. I know I would be heart broken if I lost my surgeon. I have developed a relationship of trust that I have never had with any other doctor.

He was a DS surgeon as well, and they're hard to come by in the middle of the US. I contemplated going to him for that during the 3 seconds or so I considered the DS. It's so sad that he likely helped hundreds extend their lives only to die so young himself.

What happened?

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman.  I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
