I am newer to the board, but I have been contemplating having surgery fro about four and I am finally in the final countdown to surgery I believe. I had my psych appointment this morning and it went very and I only have one more appointment to go prior to insurance submission. The program manager told me that my insurance is one of the easier companies to deal with. Will have my fingers crossed.

Best wishes for an approval the 1st time your papers are submitted to the insurance! Psych evaluations are usually the longest hold-up because of the back log and lack of providers doing CBT based bariatric work.

Congrats! I just had my psych eval on the 25th and now I am waiting on my date. It will pass so quick you won't know what is happening :)

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Hi! I too just had my psych visit last Monday and EGD this fri. Will be sent to ins after EGD. The ins specialist at my dr office said same thing about mine!!! I feel so blessed and lucky to have good ins. I'm hoping approval is quick!
