Cold Medicine

Hello, wondering if anyone has gotten sick and needed cough or sinus medicine. I am extremely congested so I took some Robitussen DM. I got a severe epigastric pain and dry heaved for 30 mins..stopped just before I got dressed to go to ER.  So, obviously that is out.

If sinus take an antihistamine tablet without nsaid. Cough go for a diabetic syrup as it will have less sugar.

Of course some of us have gotten sick and needed cough or sinus medication.  Having RNY doesn't mean you'll never get sick again. 

Really?  That's your reply.  You can be so helpful and nice one minute and then sarcastic the next minute.  I think most of us can read between the lines and understand the person was asking for advice on what the best cold/sinus medicine would be.  Communication isn't everyone's strong suit.  Geesh!  If you didn't care for how she posted, just skip it.  No need to be sarcastic and rude.  I don't think the person really thought RNY would make her immune to sickness.  I give her kudos for ignoring you.  But I just couldn't.  

I see a block in your future, because she blocked me for exactly this - calling her out on her passive aggressive posting!   I don't get why everyone puts up with it without saying anything.

Sometimes you just have to say something.  I have seen her post things like that to people a lot, and I just finally had enough.  It's ridiculous.  There is no sense in treating people that way.  I guess I will get blocked now.  And I think that is ridiculous too.  I personally don't go around on a block happy crusade.  I can take it when people disagree with me or call me out when I am wrong.  The only time I have blocked people in the past is if they are just annoying or whining constantly, but I don't think I have anyone blocked right now.  Ha.  

I should have made this comment before. This isn't the first sarcastic response I've seen talking down to others it really just makes me shake my head and get out of the post period. That type of response is talking down to someone else like they are stupid.

Nope, definitely not the first time.  She does it all of the time.  Talking down to people just isn't cool.  You will probably get blocked too for agreeing with me.  LOL. 

I got a cold from my husband when I had my surgery.  I have been taking pharmasave brand night time cold and is doesn't bother me.
