My one year post op before and after pic
I was one year post op on May 22 2014 but haven't gotten around to posting any pictures yet. It has been an amazing year. So thankful that I had the surgery! I had hoped that losing the weight would help my knees but unfortunately the damage was already done. I am currently 10 weeks out from total knee replacement on my right knee and scheduled for replacement of the left knee in September. (By the way RNY surgery and recovery is total piece of cake compared to knee replacement!!) So with both knee replacements this year hasn't been as good as I had hoped as far as being able to go out and do things but look out next year! I can hardly wait!
Thank you Marty, it is a lot of hard work but totally worth it! Good luck to you on getting to your goal. I still have about 20 lbs to get to my goal and I am hoping I can make it. Weight loss has really slowed down now that I am a year out and the fact that with the knee surgeries I haven't been very active. Still losing just very slowly.

Holy cow! Great job.
I'm due for knee replacements also, maybe next spring. I'm thinking about doing both at the same time.

Thank you! You are brave to do them both at once, I couldn't imagine it but I know a lot of people do. Now that I am on the backside of the first one of course I wish I had done them both at the same time, lol! Oh well at least I know what to expect and will get through it again. ****rogirl (Lora) from here on OH gave me a lot of helpful advice and information regarding the knee surgery. I sure appreciated it. Feel free to pm me if you have questions.
