Before and 8 Months Post op-Skinnier Scientist
Thank you! I got it at TJ Max for just $25.00. Can you believe it? And I just scored another Ralph Lauren dress at Goodwill (next to an expensive suburb) for $7.00.
I love those treasure hunts. Since I really dont cook (and eat ) anymore, the Goodwill treasure hunt is my new way to (blow a few hours).

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
Thank you! The wedding is 12/27. That is my sweet Groom with me in the before picture. Yesterday, he did the sweetest thing. I have it in my head that I am going to run a 5K in October and today was supposed to be "crazy hill work" day because there is a crazy hill on the race route. He called me last night to let me know that it was supposed to rain all day today and followed it up with "We can go running after church on Sunday though" WE. My crazy project just became "our project" He is the best.

I love the picture of you with your fiance. I am glad it sounds like he is embracing a new healthy lifestyle, too. It makes it easier when both people have the same health goals.

Bubbles- You CAN rock your weightloss and own it too. Just follow your surgeons plan and eat high protein, low carb, and (try) to watch the fat (sometimes, I eat too much cheese).
I walked as soon as I could starting right after surgery. Then I moved to yoga two months out, discovered that it made me want to pass out, then went back to a lot of walking and elliptical. Then something happened around months 4/5 post-op. When I walked it was almost like my legs were "too strong" for my body weight. When I walked it was with a lot of propelling and bounce with nominal effort and then I *knew* it was time to go back to tae bo, step and body pump (which I did before surgery).
A two workouts with a personal trainer, once a quarter (I.e. once every three months) to get a new fitness regimen to keep it fresh and keep results going is not that much. About 80 dollars. I used to spend about 100-150 on food a month, so the money I save by NOT eating pays or the Personal trainer treat.
The new NUT at my surgeons office claims exercise is the reason why I dont have excess skin. She claims that exercise gets blood flowing through "microcapillaries" and helps with the skin issue. I asked her for documentation to support this assertion and she did not have it. But at any rate, I do the exercise because it makes me feel better, gives me something to do (i.e. I stay out of the kitchen), and gives me a better bod than what I started with. I got a wedding dress to wear in 4 months!
Thank you. And your journey is YOURS-enjoy the ride.

Thank you. What you do is post your pics on Fb. Then open obesity help in another windw. IN the text box (where we are writing right now) you write something. Then go to fb, rigt click your pick. select "copy image" come back to OH and copy it right into the text box. Then keep writing. It sounds hard but if you were here it would take 4 seconds and you would find it easy. Youjust have to have your pics posted on another webpage.
