You look like a Ralph Lauren model in that dress!  Love the whole outfit and the shoes :)  That is a great color on you.  You look like you are a CEO of a company :)  Congrats on great success!

Beautiful!!! Oh wow! I am blown away.  I am nearing surgery and starting to be "scared" of what I am going to do to myself.  Seeing you put me right back on track!  And I am so glad you posted about how you did it.  I think exercise is key and I am going to look at your pictures every time I start to waiver on that  (don't worry I am not a stalker!!!).  You look like slim fit person in that dress, not someone who had WLS! Congrats on all your hard work!  It paid off big time :)

You can stalk me if you want!  Also, you can talk to me and others on this board about any issues you have.  The vets here are amazing.  They answer honestly and if they dont know..they tell you "I dont know."

I worried about what I was going to do with myself after surgery too.  For example, I loved (and still love) cooking. I have  two 6 foot bookshelves full of cookbooks and cooking magazines. I have copper pots.

But, My truth was, I probably shouldnt be looking at food porn, cooking it up and eating it.  I do still cook but the style of cooking has changed and I maybe only cook twice a week and that gets me through the week.

I found other hobbies (exercise) and sewing (cross-stitch, trying to make my own clothes on the sewing machine). Things to keep my hands and mind busy and it has worked ok so far.

Do not be scared but DO HAVE A PLAN.

As your body changes, so much more will open up to you. Even as a heavy person I did things, but there were certain activities I did NOT enjoy at a heavier weight (e.g. jogging and yoga).  As I lost weight, I revisited things and found them easier and/or more enjoyable than before. So I tried them again, and again and again and the next thing I know I am *doing* the activity and liking it.

So dont be afraid to challenge your previous likes/dislikes on food, activities, or even clothes. That dress is NOT a style I normally wear (I like that 1950's billowy full skirt look..it hides my hips). But I tried that style and for some reason it looks good!

Thanks
