1 wee****il surgery!

I have been on the liquid diet for 1 week and went to the doctor today for my pre-surgery appointment and I lost 7.5 lb!!!!  One week to until my surgery date.  I sure hope it goes well and I don't have any complications after.  A little nervous about that, more than the surgery itself. 

That's great. Worrying won't help, just do what you are supposed to do after. I was surprised how quickly things progressed after the surgery. Good Luck!

Thanks. I really am worrying.  Second guessing if I am doing the right thing.  This is so hard.

I was more worried of future complications from staying morbidly obese than complications from WLS.  A wonderful woman at a support group meeting summed it up by saying, "deciding to have this surgery is like taking a giant leap of faith."  You are strong to make this decision and am guessing you can be even stronger if need be.  I am also guessing you'll never have to know, though :)
