I was just curious if anyone keeps food/fitness journals and if so how do you keep track and do you get creative or do yo just use an app? How well does this work for you?

I do keep a journal. Many use my fitness pal app but I am old fashioned and just record with pen and paper. I track protein grams and calories,how many ounces of fluids I've had and the exercise I do daily. It has helped me to be accountable,get below goal and stay there for a year.

I use Spark People, online and as an app on my phone. It's free, simple to use, and it really helps keep on track with what I'm eating.

I use my fitness pal and a pen and paper combo.  I tend to keep everything food wise on MFP and a journal for exercise.

 

Pre-op weight 342.5; Surgery 320.7

M 1-10.5
