NSV-holy moly!
So, I am visiting family here in Fresno and will be attending a Christmas/holiday bariatric support group at the hospital where I had my RNY in March of this year. Since I am broke I decided to raid my sister's closet for something to wear. Well hot damn! I found a little black dress and thought that there was no way it would EVER fit me. I put it aside. My sister came in and encouraged me to try it on. Well, I am glad that I did. It fit! and I looked pretty darn hot in it too. Well, I took it off to hang up and happened to notice the size. A size 14! I haven't been in a size 14 since 2004! An entire decade! Facebook post and pictures sent to the girlfriend ensued. I am rather proud of myself. It is weird though because when I look at myself in the mirror, I don't see a thinner version of myself. Yet, I don't see the largest version of myself either. Maybe my brain is in transition.
That s great. yes isn't weird to look at clothes and do a 'I don't think this will fit" in your head and it fits.
