With original pink crunch berries or those hideous multi-colored ones?  even now I would buy some Cap'n Crunch if it came with original crunch berries!!

I don't know who you're responding to.  She apparently has me blocked.

I was an expert on everything related to food when I weighed 449 lbs.  I could quote calories, protein and carbs on just about any product.  Knew sordid details about every type of diet ever promoted.  Still can.  The problem was committing myself to eating healthy for the rest of my life.  Didn't want to do it.  Didn't care.

I think it's sad that someone who was MO and is still overweight looks down on people who are also MO, especially those who are SSMO.  What makes you any different?  You couldn't control your eating and needed surgery.  You're no different than anyone else.  You're no snowflake.

Oh, I was replying to JB1114, perhaps she has you blocked.

I too take issue with anyone who judges a person based on their weight. Morbid obesity is a medical issue - NOT a character flaw. I think I find it a more bitter pill to swallow when the person doing the judging is someone who themselves deals with weight issues, is part of a support community based on dealing with weight issues, and they themselves register in the "overweight" category.

I just figure, "Who the hell am I to judge anyone else?" As Kathryn said, "There but for the grace of god go I." - that rings true for me.

Ah well. "To each his own" and "Turn the other cheek" and all that other peaceful **** ;)
