No, you don't need to conquer this. If they make you sick, try something with no whey. 

Like egg white. Priteins, or even vegan proteins (i.e. Vega brand, Organix, etc) . 

I discovered that i was allergic to whey and that who i found it That there are many more, 

Plus - once you can eat - even full liquids - yogurt, then cottage cheese,etc...can be used to get proteins.

I was nauseas for several weeks. I remember the doctor writing a prescription for melds at my first appt. I tried not to take them every day,but I needed them frequently. By six weeks I was fine.

I have been drinking protein shakes for about a year now and several times /day for the last 3 weeks (pre op and now 1 wk post op).  I have always lined them but at this point I can barley stomach typing about it never mind drinking them.  I drink Spiru-Tein and I have always loved it until the last few days.
