Hello all,

I had RNY on Sept. 21, 2015 and really feel great. It's time for me to get some more vitamins and rather than having to drive across Atlanta to my surgeons office, I believe I can use some over the counter varieties. Are there some good options that you have figured out? I appreciate the help and insight.

I use the Kirkland brand from Costco. Absolutely no need to buy any specialist or bariatric specific brands ...

Centrum Chewables worked great for me; ten years out I use the regular pills.

For quality, completeness, and value I buy CENTRUM SILVER chewables.

My center recommended Centrum Chewables (not Silver), because of the iron content (18mg).

I take the silver because I take my iron separately at night for better absorption. If it is in your multi and/or you take calcium at the same time, the calcium blocks the iron.

I use the BJ's brand multivitamin as well as their calcium citrate. Last week I noticed they have 5000mg B12; when I run out my current supply I will try that too.
