Chili liquid or solid food

Is chili a liquid or solid? OK I had about a half a cup of chili for dinner I'm trying to figure out whether or not that counts as a liquid or solid? Thanks!

Thanks! The Hatteras lighthouse and Cape Hatteras is one of my favorite vacation places we used to live on the East Coast in Virginia.

Solid, but it's a slider food. Once you are further out, you can eat a lot more chili than you could a dense protein. It won't fill you up as much.

I was about to type the very same thing. Definitely a slider food. In fact, I don't know how far the OP is out -- but 1/2 cup is as much as I'd eat at 2 years out -- considering that an average cup of chili has 287 calories and 30 g carbs.

I put yogurt, soups, stews and even salads all in that same slider category.
