I still can't believe it has been a year already. It was been the most challenging and most exciting year for me. There are so many things I wish I did different, but at the end of the day I have lost 115lbs and have gained a new life. I don't post on here often, but I lurk the boards daily as a tool to help keep me on track. I can't wait to see what this next year has in store because I am not slowing down.

Isn't it amazing how much better you feel? I never realized how tired and sore I was all the time until I wasnt! Congratulations and thanks for the update!

Thank you! It definitely has been a lot of work, and continues to be a lot of work. Who ever said surgery was the easy way clearly never tried it. :)

Wow! Congratulations! You look like a completely different person. You mentioned that you would do a bunch of things differently; any advise for someone just starting out? I'm 7 weeks out and already messed up (eating fruit). Best of luck on your continued journey. ?

Thank you! I wish I waited a lot longer before giving into the carb craving. Once I started eating popcorn and cracker the carb monster came back full force and it has been a battle ever since. I also got lazy between months 7-10 and had minimal weight loss because I wasn't prepping my meals. It is a lot of work to measure and log everything you eat, but I have learned it is crucial to your success.
