What about the days you just can't get it all in?

It's strange to have this problem. But some days (like today) I just cannot eat the volume I need to get in the required protein. Most days I do ok. Should I just not sweat it? I certainly don't want to be burning my muscle mass.

A day here or there won't hurt in the long run as long as you eat what you need most days.

It's funny you posted this today-because I'm having a day like that.

I get like that sometimes! Some days I can't imagine having to eat one more thing! I write everything out I am scheduled to eat that day and if by 5:00 pm I still am struggling  - I know it is not going to happen that day. Other days by 5:pm I have already eaten everything on my list and wishing for more.

Wonder if you could do a night time protein shake with 2 scoops instead of just one ? Not sure . I wish I had that problem lol

If it were every day, it would be a problem. If it's just once in a while, accept it as a gift, and don't try to pu****

I am only just starting to not have daily protein drinks at almost 2 years out. They really have helped. Again though occasionally isn't a problem....

There were many days when I only drank protein shakes.  I figured my body did not really care whether I got my required protein from food or from a shake.  I drank protein shakes until year three when I started to fight regain.

I never had any protein deficiencies, but did do things like double scoops of protein powder when I did not want to bother with fixing or eating food.
