What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers?

Maybe your body has gotten used to your routine. Maybe shake things up for a week or two. Have you gone super low-carb lately? How is your water? Exercise? Protein? Have you taken your measurements? Maybe you are losing inches even though the scale is staying the same.

My protein goal is 60, I get between 60-90 any given day. My carbs are usually between 50 & 100. I worry more about my source of carbs than the number (i.e.- am I eating cookie/candy/bread  carbs vs, fruit, nuts, veggies). And since I just had to swear off candy recently- it's been a struggle. So far so good.

I can do better with water. I carry a 32oz water bottle to work daily and fini**** the rest of my liquid intake is diet Snapple, or crystal light. I need to try and finish my water bottle earlier in the day and refill it.

I do do take my measurements and am pleased, it's definitely moving.

Isn't it weird to wake up & feel that you're not making progress, but look at a picture & know that you are! You're doing good girl!, keep it up!

A change in routine might make you feel better, so that you feel as good as you look.

Yup routine change and fine tuning is what I need. I'm just such a creature of habit.

Hey Peach, I think I have felt similar to how you're feeling. For me, for awhile after surgery I had to think and plan for every meal, when to take my vitamins, when to drink water and such it was like a job. The weight was coming off quickly and for lack of a better term it was exciting. Then as the months (and now almost 2 years) went by it just has become my life. My new normal. So at times it has helped me to change something a bit. I've got another 1/2 marathon that I am registered for in November so that's what I've got my mind on at the moment. Anyway sorry for rambling a bit- Hope it kinda makes sense. Hang in there

thanks. I decided I'm not buying any more clothes until I reach my mini goal. I need something to work towards-- maybe one day I'll be working towards marathons like you :-)

I remember that place of hanging in the 205-209... it seemed like forever! I do agree with laura sometimes we need to shake things up and eat differently for awhile... Maybe upping your protein, and I always say make sure you are getting some fat! We need that too....

Good morning! I totally agree the more the merrier! Glad you got some needed rest yesterday. Today I think we are going to wander around the home remodeling show, it's mostly indoors which is good cause it's gonna be warm today.

QOTD: Yup, I work. I have been with my company for 14  plus years and currently supervise anywhere from 13-15 administrative professionals :)  I do take my work home with me, mostly mentally but I get work emails on my phone and my employees text me as needed.

Today will be a latte and shake for breakfast, albacore salad for lunch, normal afternoon snacks and I think I might hit trader joes today for some of the search for some patties (I think it's a chile lime one?!?). 6 miles done and vits and water on track.

Hope you have a great day!!

Love the Chili Lime patties! And have you tried the frozen Turkey Meatballs? High protein, low fat nuggets of deliciousness :)
