I am OFFICIALLY 100 POUNDS DOWN!! I am so happy. I can't believe that I can even say that. I had been kinda hoping it would happen faster (I'm a little over 4 months out) because I have so much further to go, but this is a major accomplishment. I haven't been this size since before my pregnancy, and it feels good.

I am a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding in June and hoping to lose another 50 pounds before then. Is this a realistic goal, you think?

As for NSV, I fit into all my pre-pregnancy clothes, and have waaaay more options when shopping now, can sit comfortably everywhere I go, can work out and walk and have the energy to accomplish SO MUCH, EVERYDAY. I am over the moon, but am just worried that I won't get much farther then this.

Here's to the next 100!

WOW, 100lbs in a little over 4 months? Way to work it, girl!!

It's hard to know if 50 lbs is realistic or not; generally weight loss slows down the closer you get to goal, but all you can do is keep on doing what you are doing and see where you land. If you are still losing 15 lbs a month, you've got a shot, right?

Good luck!!

Congratulations! You are doing extremely well for 100 pounds down and just a little over 4 mos out. I do think that you will be ablel to lose the additional 50 by your cousins wedding, but you will need to focus on it to be sure. Stay on your post op diet, eat dense protein first and stick to non starchy veggies. Keep all simple carbs, including fruit and unsweetended fruit juices and sugar out of your diet.

And, it is normal to think that we are going to stop losing weight. We have failed at so many attempts, but just keep this in mind. We and we alone are in control of this journey. This means that how well we use our tool, ensures how successful we are in our weight loss. You got this!!
