help! I knew it was a bad decision, but I ate ice cream and now am miserable! I'm 3 years out, but still tempt fate. Any advice on how to make this icky sweaty dumping feeing go away?!?

Lots of water - hopefully some with electrolytes. Warm water is easier on my gut because it also helps with the cramps during dumping. Diluting what's inside me in the only way for me to ease the symptoms and hope to prevent muscle cramps (legs muscles cramps). Watch for RH symptoms an hour after the dumping.

Reactive Hypoglycemia.

Due to the way our guts are post op RNY - the RH can happen 30 min to 4 hours after a meal high in sugars, carbohydrates or lean proteins. Yes - pure lean proteins - like whey or egg white protein shake can trigger RH.

Reactive hypoglycemia (postprandial hypoglycemia) refers to low blood sugar that occurs after a meal -- usually within four hours after eating. ... Signs and symptoms of reactive hypoglycemia may include hunger, weakness, shakiness, sleepiness, sweating, lightheadedness and anxiety.

Hope your feeling better by now. I'm only 7 months out and a few months ago gave in to temptation and had ice cream. OMG IT was the worst mistake. Lesson learned

Water, laying down, staying close to the toilet.

Rough lesson, but a good one.
