YES! I get the seat thing. I rode an airplane the other day and not only had seat to spare but I had seat belt to spare too!

I'm new to this too and down 115lbs and feel exactly as you do so I can't offer advice. I'm Constantly feeling bones and seeing muscles I didn't know I had and it's weird. I literally have run into people I haven't seen in a year and have to tell them my name. My husband and I went to a concert the other night. We were watching the concert and my husbands boss gave him the dirtiest look. Then after the concert we went up to talk to her and she realized it was me. She said "oh, thank God, I thought he was out with another women" just craziness that I feel so much the same and so completely different all at once.

I totally get what Peach Pie was saying. I was definitely a lot thinner in my own mind than what I was in real life. When the doctor told me I should consider WLS it was like she punched me in the face. To her shock I asked her if she was saying I was fat. I was half joking but half serious. (It was worth saying it since the look on her face was priceless).

I would grab clothes to try on and would be surprised they didn't fit. They looked huge and I thought they would be nice and baggy on me. Not so much.

I would see myself in pictures and not even believe that was me. I didn't feel like that person looked. Now I look back and can't believe I even let myself be that person-for so long.

I've lost 69 lbs so far and no one believes I was ever 280. I carry my weight all over so I can see how that is deceiving. Today I put on a size 14 and just stood in the mirror staring at my profile. It's mind blowing. This is the person that was in my head all along but could never be.
