Good morning :)

So I have to take puppy 2 back to the vet surgeon because my vet thinks his surgical pins might be migrating out of his knee. He is in quite a bit of pain now and has swelling around the knee. So more pills to try and help him feel better.

Photo: this is us at the vet yesterday. He was so scared he was shaking like a leaf so I wrapped him in my sweater.

QOTD: I love this question!! My BFF and I have been friends since we were four years old. We met at the park, then again in grade 4/5 when I switched schools, then 7/8, and all through highschool. I was her maid of honour, she witnessed our marriage license. We've been on a ton of trips together. All the ups and downs for sure!!

Breakfast - Greek yogurt

Snack - turkey sausage

Lunch - pepperoni, cheese straws

Snack - nuts

Dinner - probably something with ground beef

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

I hope your puppy's knee will be okay and that he won't need more surgery or if he does, that it will fix the problem. Poor little guy.

Hope the pup feels better soon. My husky tore both his CCLs and had 2 knee surgeries, so I know how hard it is. Good luck

Enjoy date night! DH and I used to plan one every week years ago. Now we go out to dinner a couple of times a week anyway, so I guess we have frequent date nights!

QOTD: Funny you should ask, because my best friend growing up was Jeanne S and I am meeting her for lunch today. Jeanne and I were similar in coloring and size (blonde, blue eyes, about 5'4" more or less), though I got heavy later and she didn't. We have kept in touch over the years (saw her during some periods more than others). Now she lives about 15 minutes away and her twin sister Barbara lives 5 minutes away! We are all more than an hour away from where we grew up, but living close together. Oh, and funny thing: Barbara's husband and mine have the same first and last name!

The photo was taken about a month ago when DH and I were on a sailboat in Vineyard Sound.

17 months post-op (maintenance), 68 (or less) workdays to retirement.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: Shrimp

D: leftover pork kabobs and peppers (last leftover from this meal)

S: ON cake bites

I know! But both the first and last name are pretty common here in Massachusetts. When I used to take my son to the pediatrician we always had to tell them to check the birth date when they pulled his record because there was another child with the same first name, last name, town, and birth year (but our son was March and the other one was in July).
