Well we are a day late and a dollar short on the generator. Couldnt find one. Home depot said they they were expecting a truckload but couldnt say when it was coming and they wont hold one for you. So I think we'll just have to go pioneer if power goes out.

As it turns out, a church member didn't need his, so he loaned us his generator. DH got several gas tanks filld ab I think we will be fine. And like you said we have a propane stove we use for frying fish so we can use it too. And we have a propane griddle. So if the freezers start to thaw, we're having a cookout for the neighborhood!

Good afternoon, All! (late posting today)

I met my mother and sister for coffee this morning - now I'm just hanging around the house - I need to knock a couple of things off my to do list this afternoon, though. Then I'm off to visit my friend who's in the rehab place (broken femur). So not much...

btw - has anyone noticed there seems to be a Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle shortage? It seems like everyone is out of stock. I guess I'll need to ration it out - or switch brands or flavors for awhile..

QOTD: I usually don't take anything unless I get a bad headache (Tylenol) or the dripping really starts to bug me (then I'll take something to dry it out).

3 years 3 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with raspberries

MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein chocolate latte shake

L: 4 whole grain crackers with 1/4 C homemade pimento cheese (i.e., 1 T per cracker), 1 C strawberries

AS: probably protein pumpkin pie or L&F yogurt

D: TJ's chili lime chicken strips, corn on the cob

We have most of a canister that neither of us like. If you want it, PM me and I will send it to you to tide you over.

Yes, even Syntax is out of it; I sent one of their sample packs to my cousin and they contacted me to see if I wanted to wait the week or two for it to be available or swap something else in it's place.
