Good morning and happy Tuesday! I don't see a thread this morning so I'll give starting a shot! Glad Monday is behind me and ready for a busy Tuesday and a relaxing hotel room evening tonight!

QOTD - I am a huge movie buff and love the fall movie season. Are there any movies you are looking forward to? We'll see Halloween this week, and I'm looking forward to the Fantastic Beasts sequel, finally seeing the new A Star is Born, Chris Pine's Robert the Bruce movie and the Mary Queen of Scots movie, too!

accountability - yesterday was good although I was bery hungry and had an extra yogurt.

Menu

b - coffee plus 1/3 protein shake, triple oikos apple cinnamon

l- ready egg go (snack pack with HB egg, Gouda and cashews - first time trying these)

d - prosciutto mozzarella rolls

s - triple oikos peanut butter banana if needed

exercise - hotel room dirty dozen (12 rounds of 12 squats, lunges, pushups, crunches plus one round of 6 of each)

Good morning. Fall movies... I'm looking forward to Fantastic Beasts and we usually do a Harry Potter marathon this time of year.

Yesterday I stayed away from candy and carbs completely! It wasn't easy, it seemed like everyone and their brother brought treats into the office. We had a huge platter of cookies, homemade cinnamon rolls and apple strudel from one of the best bakeries in town. I tried to stay out of the kitchen.

I ate more than I planned yesterday but since I am trying to detox off sugar and carbs I'm ok with it. I'm giving myself a couple more days of unlimited meat/nuts/dairy before I start tracking and work in additional fruits and veggies. I need to stay on track...

Is it possible to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks?? I'm seeing a guy I haven't seen in 20 years and I'd like to look good. BTW, I'm kidding about the weight loss, I'm not going to crash diet.

Time since surgery: 4 years 3 months

B: deli ham, cheese, latte

S: string cheese and salami

L: Salad wit chicken

S: protein shake and coffee, cheese if necessary

D: Salad with whichever protein is available

W/V: Started

E: None :( (Dr. apt for knee tomorrow)

QOTD: Oh, cool, the sequel to Fantastic Beasts is coming out? I'd like to see that! I can't think of any other movies right off the top of my head, but my daughter and I are going to a Halloween Illusionist on Friday and I'm looking forward to that.

QOTD: talking to the wrong person about movies... not a movie goer

Went to Manhattan last night to this woman's networking event.. I was sitting there at one point saying 'what am I doing here?' It was chi-chi NY with obligatory black dress code- which I obliged to... haha... in the end I cried through most of it and am still not sure why. Women entrepreneurs telling their stories and defining moments. I guess I was supposed to be there.

Went to a French Cafe when I got there and had coq au vin. So good. I tasted the mashed potato but my carb of choice was some amazing freshly baked French bread.

B: Fairlife latte, overnight oats

L: at diner: soup and ½ tuna on rye, and probably will take too piece of bread off.

Pre-support (speaking! Woop!) yogurt and blueberries

post support- if it's not too late- Greek Chicken otherwise probably just protein shake

snacks: protein bar

ex: rest day. Did my urban hiking in NY yesterday 45 minutes to and from event.

hi all late post for me!

made it in fine last night, then into the office this morning. didn't eat much yesterday until later like 8pm, then had parmesan tilapia, green beans, spag squash and something called a sauerkraut ball which was a fried ball of saurkraut with ham. it was pretty good. I also had a bout 6 dark choc almonds = I was still under calories so that works.

QOTD: i do want to see halloween, the gaga movie- we have not been to the movies in forever.

Food:

egg whites with mushroom and onion

1 piece bacon

coffee

water

lunch and dinner are TBD.
