What makes you think you have stretched your pouch? Why are you over eating at 6 weeks out?

The pouch matures, but you can't really stretch it out to original size if that is what you are talking about.

Remember you only get one honeymoon period after WLS so use it wisely.

You need to start weighing and measuring your food so you know exactly how much you are eating. Eating until you feel sick is not good.

Some of us had 4 weeks or more of liquid diets before and after surgery. So I get that you haven't eaten in so long, but you really have to reel things in and take control back. You had major surgery and your insides rearranged you don't want to go off track after everything you went through to get the surgery.

You can do this.

Did you receive dietary guidelines from your surgeon regarding what types of foods and what quantities of food you should be eating? If so, are you abiding by those guidelines? To repeat what's already been said, weigh, measure, and record every bite. Digital scales are inexpensive and invaluable. You shouldn't be hammering down extra food. You're still healing and you need to stay in the lane both for your safety and comfort, and in order to take advantage of the miraculous chance you've been given. What are you typically eating, and are you weighing your portions?

The site keeps eating my post. Sorry for all the "deleted posts" - it's because it truncates them.

Don't overeat. Don't test your new pouch and end up in the hospital. Don't lose this valuable time known as the honeymoon period where the weight drops off. Because I can assure you, it gets harder and harder as you get further out.

I recommend you go on amazon and buy a food scale. They are
