3 Hours to Surgery
Surgery today! I'm going to go pack a small bag (thanks for tips of what to take to hospital), shower, do my hair, and head to the hospital (an hour away).
Yesterday was an exciting day. I went to my pre-op bariatric class and learned so much. The nurse had lap band done a year ago so she was helpful and knowledgeable about what to expect. I read through all my nutrition, activity, surgery expectation information and feel very well prepared for this change. And my sister arrived last night to help out and keep me company for a while (that's the best news).
Thanks to all of you for your comments and suggestions to each. As I've read your comments, I've learned what to expect, what problems could lay ahead, and how to cope with the problems.
