How much time off did you take?

My work is trying to have me only take a week or two off because we are short on coverage.  I don't really have a stressful job, I can for the most part sit when I want and walk around the building some too.

How long did you take off and what were some of your issues.

I am 51 and I run a restaurant and I took off 1 week and I had NO issues.  I felt great.  And honestly it was easier being at work and busy than sitting around staring at clear liquids.  You will do great!
I am not big boned!  Bones don't jiggle!

I went back in 3 weeks. I milked it could have went back in 2 but I had the drain and didn't want to take any chances.

I took 5 weeks, and I'm glad I did.  I could have gone back at 4, however, I travel all day, every day and the extra week gave me a chance to figure out my travel friendly meals!

I took off for two weeks,  probably could have gone back after one but had already scheduled two so took it anyway.  I was tired but otherwise fine by the end of two weeks,  good luck with your surgery
